Default 2002 Corvette Q2: Auto trans location?

Hey again,

I've not owned a Vette, so sorry if this is a stupid question...

Can a Vette Auto trans from 2002 bolt up to the back of the LS1 just like the Camaro? Target vehicle is a 70 Chevelle.

Thanks again,
Rick

Your answer is NO.

I shed some light on it in the thread asking your 1st question.

In the future, try to keep your questions together, it makes for less clutter on the site.

Actually, the "Transmission" can be used, youd have to put a bellhousing and tail section on it, but the meat and potatoes of the tranny are the same.

Yeah, when the recycler said that only the Z06 was transaxle, that went against everything I thought I knew. Thanks for confirming it!
