So you determined it was the clutch or the hydraulics? I couldn't get my car into 4rth either the last time out. Went 11.90 @107 coasting through. Very sad. I believe I may have damaged syncros as a result. I also have a H&C Z06 (460rwhp) with a LUk Gold clutch. Basically stock with an aluminum flywheel. I was thinking of swapping it out his winter for a Ram twin just to be safe.

It turned out to be my clutch. Had to put in a new tranny to prove it..alot of wasted money but things are good now. RPS replaced everything. Pit-man

Replaced OEM master and slave? Do you know if they drill out the restrictions in the line?

pittman Oct 29, 2007 12:32 PM

I doubt it is drilled as normal proceedure. I had to request it done.

yes I had lg motorsports dyno & tune when they installed the headers. I also need a new clutch it hangs to the floor. What clutch do you think is the best to go with.

About time there buddy!!!! LOL

I still got you beat, not by much though. You did awesome with the nittos. I guess it helps to go to a track where they actually prep it really good. Not to good of a track where you spin with Et streets on, lol.

I was going to go with a Mcleod twin disk or a texralia oz700. Wit the power we are making a LS7 clutch heard would be really good and very cost effective. Even with the cam I just put in my car, going towards the LS7 clutch and the LS2 flywheel.

You Z06 guys, please add times to the fast list below link. Do not do the drill mod, it's an old wive's tale, waste of time and may hurt performance. Check Ranger's write ups on the clutch/hyd issues at vetteforum. Imo, the Aussie clutch is the best out there today, bar none.
