Video sounded good, but the video itself kept dragging and freezing. I hope my computer isn't f'ing up.

I guess it's all in how you look at it. The viper does "edge" out the vette, but of course it's about $15,000 more. Personally, I'd take the Z06, put better tires (like the Viper has) and a couple of small mods and LIGHT THOSE VIPERS UP in EVERY category...and have a car that's a little more civilized and still have 10 grand in my pocket.:D

I guess there's so few of them out on the road, the point is mute. I hardly ever see one... except at shows. I guess the viper just isn't a car to drive around.

I thought that the z06 runs an 11.7 in the 1/4 mile

Personally, I'd rather have the Viper. I like the looks more and I've already got a C5Z so I'm happy with that.

I wish I could have one of each. The z06 is a more useful car. I have driven both while looking. You would not want to take too many road trips in the viper.

Exactly. The Viper is a race car. It's loud, vibrates, and it's a very raw feeling. BUT it's a race car and if you go 200 miles in it, you go knowing it's a race car. :)
