I was on SVTperformance and someone posted the fastest Mach1 times and I was in SHOCK. What are the fastest LS1 times with bolt ons, suspension, gears? Here's the Mach's times.

How are they trapping so high with just bolt ons, gears, & suspension? So these LS1's don't even have a cam?

those are just bolt on cars... no heads cam or anything like that...


its just the right setup, on the right day, at the right track...


for one their race weight is 29xx and 30xx.. that is a BIIIIIG deal... my car is pretty damn lite but im only at 3250 race weight...
as far as the setup, they just matched their gearing, stalls, and so on correctly...
last is the track and the temp... im sure when they ran those cars they had a -DA..

*****just because those bolt on cars are running that time at that track... they could move a few states over and not even get mid 11s... there is sooo many factors besides just mods on a car.

We are doing a bolt-on ls1 car for a customer, 99 Camaro, he has paid great attention to detail on it and making sure it looks like a car and not a gutted hulk. His car is 2920 with him in it and his first pass was a 10.79-something at 120-something mph (lazy 1.47 60'). We are swapping convertors and making some shock settings that worked in my car in hopes of getting them 60 fts in line.

The owner of the car lurks on here, I'll tell him to sign on and post. The car is really quality and well thought out, it was originally built as a NHRA Stock eliminator car. Pictures of it are disappointing in terms of seeing anything trick, Lamb brakes all 4 corners, Afco shocks all 4 corners, 2001 engine, Custom ss headers, trick turbo 350, S&W moly suspension, moly 6pt bar and etc.
