Thumbs up New Best!

I went racing on Sunday for the first time since early spring. We managed to get my little stock cube nitrous motor to hit a pretty good lick. Here's my best pass of the day......

1.39 60'
6.03 @ 113 1/8th
9.36 @ 145 1/4

I was very pleased with the car, especially for it's first time out all summer. We are making a few changes and going back next weekend to try to beat the current stock cube N20 record (9.32 @ 142) If all goes as planned and we get the record then over this inter we will be taking more weight out of the can along with a few other changes to the nitrous setup and we are going to try for an 8.999999 We know it's not going to be a walk in the park but we are not into bracket racing and there is no good heads up classes around us so all we have left is to just see how far we can push this little motor. There is not a doubt in my mind that if anyone can make it happen it's Bluecat (my tuner) The guy is top notch, if it wasn't for him I'd probably be stuck in the 11's LOL. Anyway, I was pretty proud of my car so I thought I'd share it with you guys. I posed a similar thread in the nitrous section but I thought that it would be more appropriate in here.

Thanks, BAKED

Baked

You got it flying for sure! What track did you run at? I am guessing Beech Bend! I went there on their first Saturday TNT in October and had a blast also got my new PB MPH with the 346 CI NA! 10.754 ET with a 124.14 MPH.

Anyway you got a fast ride for sure! Good luck on the next outing and be safe!

I'd say the glide and 3:90 gear are the reason for the "slightly sluggish" 60'

I actually added weight to the back of the car..... I'd say it's around 3250 with me in it.

I was running at Clay City, never been to Beech Bend but I'd like to sometime.

The car has a medium sized cam, >.610 lift And an old set of Absolute Speed stg. 2.5 heads. I have 2 stages of juice on it, with both of them combined It's still under a 300 shot. Believe it or not we were on a pretty mild tune up.

Thanks for the compliments guys. We have worked very hard on the car, hopefully next time out we can knock off a few more tenths...
