Fastest 2009 LX List My hats is off to anyone who takes their car to the drag strip and races. I pay money to watch you, thanks!! 
Recently July 4th., BlwnTA announced to the world he had made it into the 7 second club. I watched his accomplishment in person. Sunday, I'll shake his hand.
Since July 4th. 2,422 people have viewed this thread. That tells me folks are interested in performance. People on this board what to know who is the fastest. I found a top 10 list for 2008.
I've see 4 or 5 of those cars run in 2009. I've watched three improve their performance over 2008.
Perhaps I am the only person interested in knowing how LX powered cars are running in 2009.. If I am I'll shut my mouth and continue to attend 10.5 drag radial events. But, if other folks want such a list please add a comment to this thread. Ask the folks running the board to provide a list.
If you're a driver and have improved your 2009 performance and you were on the 2008 list please let us know your 2009 accomplishments. I think two of the top 10 2008 cars have been sold. So, who will take their place?
Paul Majors 7:23 was the fastest 2008 time. But what has he done in 2009? What was his race weight and engine combo?
This stuff isn't secret. It's normally posted in the posters signature. So obviously these drivers want it known. I told an administrator Marks 8:08 car was capable of a 7:8. Bingo, he runs it next time out. He can run faster yet. I've seen the other Ohio Boys cars run 7:6's. They can run faster yet. But who else is out there?
Anyone else want this? Add a brief comment.

No list, no interest, no problem!!
Sunday I attended a 1/8 mile OSM even in Ohio. No one did anything to the track. I guess thats extra when you rent a track. The big engine turbo cars never got hooked up. The 10.5 DR class was won by a Ford running Nitrous. Runner up was V6 Buick running 5-5's on a poor track.
I wish there was one set of standards. Milan preps their track. I've seen 10.5 turbo cars carry their wheels 200'. On the next track they can't get traction. On the next track, same class they are required to add weight.
Hopefully they will work the track at the bash. I wish everyone luck, Everyone won't win. Hopefully everyone will drive their car back on the trailer..
