Default Went to the local 1/8th today.. first time out with this car

Well, I hit our local race-legal 1/8th mile at qualcomm stadium, which is about the worst prepped track on earth. I could not get traction at all on this track, I was spinning until the middle of 3rd gear. Anyways, heres my results from my best run:

RT - 1.067 (zZzZ)
60' - 2.454
MPH - 88.24
ET - 8.953

Most of my other 60' times were in the 2.6 to 2.8 range, I was blowing my tires away no matter how much I feathered the launch. Time for some better rubber. What do you guys think I could run if I got my 60' down to around 1.9-2.0? My ET was consistently 87-88mph.

Wow, I had better 60' then that when I sprayed from off the line on street tires.

But look at your MPH that is moving for that ET, you got low 8's easily in that thing. There was a guy with an LS6 swap in his 02' and ran 8.2-.3 all night with your MPH also.

I would say low 8's with some DR's. I ran a 8.09 at 88mph with a 3:42 gear and a 7.89 at 88mph with a 4:11

M/T is the way to go, I went 7.69@88.42. In your Sig. your car makes 422 rwhp so you should be around 90 mph running mid 7's. with 1.70ish 60ft.

Thats what I was thinking, somewhere around low 8's. The track prep is nonexistent because its a parking lot, not a real track (its also uphill). I had to let off on half the runs because I would get pointed at the wall. I tried running my BFG's as low as 15psi and really heating them up but it was still like I was driving on glass. There was a bunch of guys in cobras running some hoosiers or MTs and they seemed to do okay though.
