Default Hunter02SS 1st. Track Times..

Car weighs 4000# even
1st pass off trailer EXACTLY like he drives it on the street...93 octane...6-7 psi on wastegate spring...nitto 17" drag radials..no ice in intercooler
10.82 @ 134
1.8x 60' off footbrake

2nd pass
c16 (11.1 afr) and ice in i/c (109 start iat temp 89 end temp)
10psi
footbrake
1.80
6.58@ 113
10.00@ 145
25 psi in the nittos with no spinning down track

3rd pass 15psi
he spun once boost came up and had to go off/on throttle
1.73
6.78 @ 114
10.11 @ 149

a few 10.1-10.0 passes and then the final

1.78 off the footbrake
6.50 @ 116
9.80 @ 151
15psi

this is as high as his 6psi wastegate spring can go. He has another spring at home so he can go higher boost.

Tomorrow I am sure they will get the suspension dialed in even better but WOW on NITTOS!

I think with the MT DRs as the car sits and off the tbrake the car will go 9.0-9.1 on only 15psi. His turbo is just probably getting started. Once he turns it up some more...easy 8s....easy

Nitto's are the 315-35-17's. I am leaving off the footbrake between 2-2500rpm.

I would try it on slicks atleast once to see what it would do, You might need some travel limiters though.

Those are some good times for the first time out though.

Just a little more aggressive launch and some suspension tweaks and the ET will drop. Toss in some more traction, more boost to get the turbo working, and 8's are in the bag.

Will be nice to have the representation at the Shoot Out in Memphis.

Awesome times man. Once you have it set to leave on some boost off the transbrake the car should haul the mail. Really looking forward to meeting you and watching the car next weekend.

Went back to the track yesterday and made a few pass's. I was able to add the other wastegate spring and now the car is at 15psi. on wastegate. I managed to back up my 151mph, but the track wasn't as good as it was Saturday. Then I made a rookie mistake, but never had any problems in the past on my other car, but I alway's run with my cooling fans on, and this time, the fan blades must of hit the cage they are in and broke 5 blades on each fan, so that ended my day.

Chris with some seat time and a different launch technique i think you can run a 9.6x on those Nittos. 8s are gonna be a breeze on tires with a good 60'. Watching the car I noticed it didnt really come alive until between the 60-330' area.

Great job on the first time out. What engine management are you using? BS3 now has wot fan shutdown, nice feature for a problem like that.
So you have a comparison, my car ran a best of 9.50 @150 with 1.50 60ft on the 18" M&H drag radials and stock shocks. When I switched to the 15" Hoosier Drag radials and AFCO's, it pulled the front tires and dropped to 8.80's. Your mph is there, get the 60 ft down!

I will be on better tires for the shootout so I can leave off the 2 step. Our main goal was to get some tuning done, but we ran out of wastegate spring. I fixed that and now at 15psi on wastegate. I am not going to be running 8's (i don't think) at the shootout, but probably closer to low 9's. Just not enough time to get her dialed in more. None the less, we will have a great time!

That's extremely impressive, but imagine what it would do at 3400 lbs...
