Default 13.27-13.31 02 T/A Pic. inside.

First time at the track. Just have headers, catback, CAI, LCA, SFC, Torque arm. and 94,000 miles! Tires are 245 Bf goodie G forces. Auto with 3.23's Tranny slips a little. Shes getting old. Hooked awesome though. No tire spin.

Stall after new trans. I hope haha. I need a car that I can drive back home after racing at the track. 95,000 mile transmission. Stock stall. At 6'1 250lbs with various crap in the car at full weight full gas tank prob does not help much either. I noticed I had plenty of gear left at the end of the track about 4,000RPM in third at the line. If I could get that up to 6,000RPM at the finish Line and lose some weight I think that might help some haha... I bought some new parts that are going in at the end of the year so hopefully these times will be a thing of the past.

I was crossing the line at about 4600 prestall and 5500 after the stall.

IF you say that you're transmission is slipping you probably need to start saving up for that anyway. Then just do that and a stall at the same time. There is really nothing you can do for that money (except maybe a nitrous kit) that will give you the gains that a stall will.

Changing nothing other than installing a good stall (and some tires) will have you in the mid 12s, even at the same raceweight.

That's what I would like to shoot for next season. Trans and stall. Then watch that blow my 95,000 mile rear end out to the moon haha... I can see where im headed, into a deep money pit, lol.
Thanks

Try to get it to shift around 6200-6300. Just putting those values in may mean that it shifts at like 6700, so you might have to play with. Or the stock 6000 setting may actually be pretty close.

I would get a tune, your MPH seems a little low for having headers. I got .3 and 3 MPH from a tune. My best MPH is 107.77, I wish I had your 60' times, I would be in the 12s. Do you leave the line at idle or higher?

The first time I just smacked the gas. The second time I Foot braked it some. That torque arm I have in there really has made a world of difference....

Some goodies going in next year. AFR heads and a comp cam. My pool table is great to use for everything except its intended use.

I ran similar times on my stock suspension 1999 Z28, auto with a 3.23 gear. All I had was some new BFGoodrich KDW's, lid, catback magnaflow, and some 70 degree weather with low humidity. It had about 50k on it at that time.

Not bad, but maybe a tune will allow you to pick up some mph.
