Not what I was hoping for but so far out of two runs a 13.74 @ 98.7. Bottle pressure was low since it was cold and I didn't think ahead to put it in the truck and warm it up. I am very confident low 13s shouldn't be hard and to make sure I have a gage on the way so I can get good pressure, and I will take 125 jets if the 100 shot isn't enough.

The first video starts a few seconds after I begin my burnout. I was testing gears for my burnout since this was my second run on slicks and first on nitrous. I didn't realize how long I smoked them but you will see the results!

The second run is typical burnout with my best time of 13.74.

The slips look like this. It is the kiddy pool of the 13s so far but you gotta start somewhere!

That would be me. Didn't use much but going to top her off before we go for the last no et on Nov. 7th. She held togather so I am rather happy! Planing on stroking it this winter but I am hoping to not have to replace anything more that I have to for the stroke!

How were you activating the n2o??? That 60s pretty weak. You need to spray that thing out the gate. 1.8s should be attainable imo...

Window switch at 3000 rpm. My 60 ft times were down by .1 from my usual. Typical I cut 2.0 and I did on my 13.74 but my other two runs for the night were 2.1x. It is a 4250lbs truck so my 60 isn't going to be where you guys are in your 3xxx cars. Does anyone spray a stock motor below 3000 rpm? The juice came in right about he 60ft mark. If I go down to 2200 to 2500 or so I could help my 60 ft time but a tenth or so.

My full weight GTO weighted 4080lbs with spare and tools in it. I never put a radial on it, but on street tires it cut 1.79 but I was spraying it off the line, no window switch, kit came on at WOT. Good luck with the truck. Also if you have access to tuning software or a programmer, take some timing out and go with the 150 pills.

Yeah what you need custm2500 is just a WOT switch and then stab the gas off the line. Youll NEVER get a decent 60 or 1/4 ET with a window switch...unless of course you have a stall or t-brake.

Ive sprayed plenty of **** plenty of different ways. TRUST me, get rid of the window switch and go WOT right out of the gate...youll thank me later

I have a 2800 stall. I will drop the rpms down a bit for sure like I said probably 2500. Also a big thing is 1st gear shifts at 5200 and second spins till 5600. I will spray through 1st and that won't be problem since I just had the tranny rebuilt and beafed up. If I drop down to 2500, break stall it a bit higher and change the off side of the window to 5500 I should be low 13s for sure! I am also going to raise the tire pressure to 25 and maybe help my mph. I hooked hard and had no tire spin at all at 20 psi so I will raise that to help the top end. I know low 13s will be rather easy and all of that plus another 25 hp if needed I probably should make my 12 second goal.

As long as the window is within your stall range you should be good. You said a 2800 but with a stock truck its prolly not stalling that high. If its not, lower the window switch to within range. Me personally, Id get rid of the window switch altogether.

And if you LOWER that tire presure to about 15 or less you wont have that 2nd gear spinning problem you were talking about. Ive never heard of anyone running that much psi in slicks. Definately dont RAISE it. Slicks wont do you any good if theres too much air in them.

If you can get that 60 down in the 1.8 range (like I think you can), low 13s should be attainable.

I don't have any spining problems anywhere. Plenty of traction from the line till the end. Not event close to spining I don't beleive so that is why I can raise the pressure and hopefully gain a mph or two. After my first nitrous run my goal for the next was 13.7 with 100+ mph. Well I got the 13.7 but 98.87! So as long as I still hook the harder tire will help possibly.

2650 open on the nitrous and I should be good!

Thats where I got my spinning statement from.

If youre NOT spinning at all, then yeah you should be good to raise a few lbs & try for a couple more mph.
