First Time At The Track With My Z....
So, i was a little dissapointed in my e.t. but the mph rocks. My mods are stock dispacement ls-1, tr224 cam, prc 5.3 cncd heads, ls6 intake, u/d pulley, slp maf, pacesetter lt's, off road y-pipe, borla cat back. I was running n/a. UNTUNED! I blame my lack of e.t. on running street tires and my junky stock clutch and clutch hydraulics, i.e. sticky *** clutch pedal. it sounded like i was running a old muncie rock crusher! oh yeah, full weight. including speaker box and tool bag!

well, i think he sucks . jk! what do heads cam cars with 4000lbs+ on street tires usually run!
i think for what it is, on street tires it did decent. i was hoping for 12.70's-12.80's on street tires. track temp was 35 degrees so i doubt it would have been possible. the yellow tickets "losses" were against a good friend of mine. we have played on the street numerous times and i absolutely rape him from any kind of roll. he ran consistent 12.90's all night. and yes, stock clutch and that damn 6200 rev limit is annoying as hell. it is my dd so i have not done anything to lighten it. i am working on a dd, and when it happens, i guarentee you i will have that thing completley gutted and stripped for next season. automatic with a stall for sure as well. the six speed is fun on the street, but on the track, i would much rather have an auto. i am changing my combination around so i will wait on the tune.

Two words brother...tune & DA. Youre in AZ so conditions arent exactly optimal there, and you said you werent tuned.
Check out my sig for what a mostly stock LS1 will do in favorable conditions.
Given your mph, in perfect conditions you should be able to go some lowER 12's at least...
Dont sweat the haters...9/10 its just ignorance...

if i am not mistaken a fully loaded and optioned out 02 will weigh in at around 3800. i have a speaker box, small as it is, it still probably weighs 25lbs, tool bag(20-25lbs) and me. i walk around at about 225. so i feel my estimate of 4000lbs + is not to unrealistic.
