Default New best at T&T last night

Just got my car back after some tranny work and a new stall. I went to the test and tune at Gainesville Raceway last night had a chance to put in a lot of runs best of them was

1.69 60', 12.40 @ 107.92 MPH

Had a blast, but kept forgeting to shift out if second after the burnout. My car will start off in 2nd if you put it there. Man I was pissed when I did that.

Yea took some getting use too. I launched it from idle to 2000 RPM found 1000 to be the sweet spot.

The time in my sig was great weather big time -DA. Last night was not that great by comparison.

Yes leaving a little over idle works the best w/ a stall converter.I am pulling 1.63 60ft on Nittos w/a Yank SS3600.

It all depends on the stall.I seem to have good luck w/ Yank SS3600 in my 02 SS has in it and went 11.88@113 1.6360ft w/ just a few bolt-on's.

oh ok I still think a FTI 3600 should be a good converter.

I think it will pick up more still. But also my old best was on a great day -500 or so DA.

My motor is stock and low on HP, also running stock 323 gears and mostly stock suspension. I think I will get better times as I get used to the stall, going to try some new things next time.
