Default El torro track results

Mods are:

ls6 intake
ported TB
pacesetters
cutout
SS4000 yank
3.73
El torro 230/230 cam
85mm vette MAF
chrs1313 ram air
Racelite wheels
FTP lid
stock 853 heads

I got my best 60' EVER and felt awesome

1.53 60'
7.284 1/8 @ 93.26
11.492 1/4 @120.623

Does the 1/4 seem a tad bit off on the et?? I did notice the car going into OD. Going to have to get the shift points moved up. For the most part I;m happy just got that 10 sec goal and grasping at srings!

Yeah went into OD right at the end of the 1/4. What can be do to prevent that from happening again? 3.73 and a 26" tire now with shift points at 6400, bump the shift point up a little?

I'd shift around 6700, you might pick up some Et/Mph too.

shift points should be set a couple hundred rpm above peak power if I'm not mistaken. Bumping them up shouldn't hurt anything and keep you in 3rd. You could also have the tuner engage lockup in 3rd to gain a little more rpm but I wouldn't.

How much did you pick up going from the chrome ZR1's and 3.23's? Thats what I currently run and I'd like to know what I'd gain going to a drag wheel setup and 3.73's.

Also, what is your rwhp with the new setup?

I'd say 3-4 tenths but the 60ft also dropped and that helped the gains also

Yep. try 6600 and set the rev-limiter at 6800 and let her eat.

yeah I was shifting mine at 6800-6900 but I also had a fast that bumped the peak 100 or so higher...I would go at 6750-6800...

congrats mph looks great, you said da was like 900ft and race weight is like 3500-3600lbs...that is right on par with my 125mph in -800ft and being around 3250 rw...so I would say it is running good
