That STOCK INTAKE is really killing you and is a SUPER RESTRICTION on a head and cam car! You still have the ls1 intake! Upgrade that to at least a ls6 intake (ported ls6 would be better) and ported throttle body. If you really want the best results and the most HP go with a ported FAST intake and a nick williams throttle body. You will see a drastic difference!!!! Make sure when you swap your intake and TB you get your car retuned for the best results! Goodluck Also do you have an aftermarket CAI or stock?

Depends on your budget? If your on a budget you can buy a nice ported ls6 intake and ported TB combo that ive seen sold on here for about $350 min to about $400 max.
If your not on a budget I would say a ported FAST 90 or 92 with a Nick Williams throttle body. Another suggestion would be to go with the new FAST 102 intake but there seems to be mixed reviews on it for a stock 346 CI motor. Some ppl say its overkill some ppl like it. You would be good with any of the intakes mentioned though and it will be a a significant increase from that stock ls1 intake/TB. Your leaving alot of HP/TQ on the table with that ls1 intake/TB man.

Still even with the stock intake something is not right. The car is down on power or something. How much experience do you have with porting? A bad port job can hurt power. My car goes 12.2 @ 110 on stock LS1 intake and stock cam and stock 853s.

This could be true although we dont know the DA you ran in vs his. He could be running in really bad DA which will result in a much lower low et and trap speed. There are head and cam full bolt ons, ls6 intake, gears and stalled cars that trap only around 114 (possibly bad DA) so considering OP has the stock ls1 intake/ TB thats not bad at all.

Aw man.. Car still has alot left in it. Any head and cam car needs to be dynotuned for maximum results. The more power you add the more that ls1 intake becomes more of a restriction. On just a stock car (98-00) ppl swap over to the ls6 intake a dyno it and see nice gains so you will see really good gains with a heads and cam car rather you decide to get a ls6 or FAST intake. Add a ported intake and ported TB then get it dynotuned and it will definitely be a night and day difference!
