Just wanted to share my struggle......
When I first bought my car (2000 Trans Am A4) I took it to the track and was able to turn out a 13.31 @ 104. The mods started shortly after with the addition on headers and full exhaust. Then came the PP 85mm Intake with matching throttle body. MTI lid and K&N. Random suspension components as well. Random trips to the track never produced a lower E.T. and sometimes actually increase very slightly. On average 13.4 was all I could get. So this year I decided a stall was necessary. Purchased a 4000 stall from a user online and installed it with the addition of a few more suspension components. Results were amazing. Finally took it to the track today. Made sure the tires were warmed up very well being nitto 555r. I tested the track and stalled it up to 2200 rpms and let her rip. I was completely amazed. First run was as follows:
60 ft - 1.7193
1/8 et - 7.9684
1/8 mph - 85.89
1/4 et - 12.5459
1/4 mph - 107.66
2nd run I started out of the grooves which I knew wasnt a good thing but my component double bulbed me so I went with it. It spun bad off the line and when I feathered the throttle I was able to get it back in the grooves and actually caught him before the end of the 1/4. Glad to see the MPH did remain close to the same. 106 mph.
3rd run was another good run. Made sure I was in the correct spot this time. Stalled it up higher 2600-2800 and stabbed it. Got a great launch and felt the front suspension travel fully (another first for me) and ran strong all the way down. times are as follows:
60ft - 1.6879
1/8 et - 7.9238
1/8 mph - 85.94
1/4 et - 12.4917
1/4 mph - 107.73
I was soo happy just grinning from ear to ear. Just wanted to share. Now just gotta get it tuned and then its time to spray it.

HAHAHA i might need to change that pic. Everytime I ask a question I get at least one or two "I didnt read anything you wrote but nice AV" But on the other hand no the car has not been tuned at all. I have been putting it off for like 2 years because Im always thinking about the next mod and that it would have to be retuned so lets just wait for that mod but I am finally going to pull the trigger on it.

Scheduled the tuning for next Tuesday with Frost. I would love to be able to be there while the tuning is going on but work wont allow it. If I could get and exact time that the tuning would take place I might be able to make it but I know how scheduling of a business goes. Thats hard to do. Gonna bump the nitrous up to 150, refill the bottle, and install new plugs and then let the tuning commence. Will keep ya posted.

Lemme know how the tuning goes, I still need to make the hour drive down 95 south from Spotsylvania, to pay him a visit. From what I hear, he's one of the best (if not THEE best).

Well had the tuning today. Car wasnt actually bad from the beginning. 330whp/332rwt. Wasnt running that rich either. Tuning ended up with 337/339. And this is through a 4000 stall and a locked converter. Nitrous runs went well. 150 shot. Only issue we ran into was my nitrous purge solenoid got stuck open. Im using a filter and the system is practically new so I do not know why it is stuck open but it did. We bypassed the purge and ran it a few more times. We gradually had to cut back on the fuel because it was running very fat. 9's. We ended up at a #33 on the fuel side but numbers came to 438/469. It was still running fat at higher rpms but we believe that was due to pressure drop at the bottle.
