Default No 12's (yet) But New PB

Went to the track today and had a good time.

They had a few timing problems, no 1/8th on one slip no MPH on another.

The car ran real well but I couldn't get a decent 60 ft time even with the DR's.

It was also the first time its been WOT since the LT install and tune.

First Run 11:06am RL
60ft 2.009 1/8 N/A 13.209 at 106.33mph

Second Run 11:15 LL
60 ft 2.058 1/8 8.544 at 85.21mph 1/4 13.183 at 106.35mph

Third Run 11:29 LL
60ft 2.055 1/8 8.546 at 85.23mph 1/4 13.175 at 106.96mph

Fourth Run 11:37 RL
60ft 2.015 1/8 8.537 at 85.51 mph 1/4 13.161 at 106.33

Fifth Run 11:43 LL (Best Run)
60 ft 2.066 1/8 8.534 at 85.57 1/4 13.141 at 107.83

Sixth Run 12.21pm RL
60ft 2.013 1/8 8.579 at 84.96 1/4 13.231 MPH N/A

Too many FWD cars driving right through the water box :x

A lot of peoples 60fts were off as they were spinning.

Good Luck next week I hope you get it.

I think I will season my DR's with a little VHT before I go back in 2 weeks.

Almost there! There might still be alot of moisture in the track this early in the season.

Hoosier Drag Radials 255/50/16.

I think they need to be seasoned.

Yes everyones 60's were off a bit and the track did feel a little slippery.

Having my fronts(275/40/17) at 28 psi certainly didn't help

I forgot to check them yesterday morning,I think 40 psi the next time will help a bit with the rolling resistance.

what psi in the back tires? and yes, i ran like 45psi in my fronts at the track haha. roughly 15psi in the back (they will heat to 18 or so after a generous burnout). unhook the front swaybar and get some 1.8x 60' times!

i was able to get my 4k stalled car to 60' in the 1.60-1.63 range on an unprepped track notorious for bad traction. i was on m/t et street DRs. had sfcs and lcas as the only susp mods. no front swaybar. stock springs and shocks. really the car didn't drive terribly w/o a front sb. but i always drove miss daisy on the street.

The lowest I went was 18 psi,I will try 15psi in 2 weeks when I go back.
