We went back to back 10.88 passes on Saturday with a 6.88 1/8 mile time.
Best trap speed was 123 mph on these passes. Humidity was about 55% for these passes and temp was in the mid to low 60s.
Thought I'd share.
These passes were at the newly re-opened Twin City MotorSports Park (formerly Twin City Dragway).

performabuilt 4l60 with a tci 3500 stall.
I'm curious as to how much I'm leaving on the table with the stall. I'm in the mid 1.4 60' range but I think the car would run better with a 4000 stall..... I just don't want horrible street manners. Anyone have a suggestion on a stall choice that would trap well and drive well on the street?

I agree. I'm thinking of doing a 4000 yank. I'd like to get a couple tenths out of it. I think the current setup and race weight will get a 10.6 pass this fall. I'm going to do some minor weight reduction and more suspension mods and also plan to swap the stall. I believe this is realistic 10.5 second quarter mile goal with potential to go quicker. I wonder if the MPH will stay the same with the Yank 4000.??

yes it is. It's now call Twin City Motorsports Park. Search for that on Facebook to keep up with what's happening there. Search for Jason Madden on Facebook to find me. I own MadTunes Racing. The track is pretty nice with new facilities.

If you are going to go with Yank, call them and let them spec you something. If you have spent this much money so far why buy something that is just generic off the shelf.
Give them all the info of your motor and car and what you want the car to do and they will spec you something to reach that goal.

Sweet !! Congrats on the new NA best, man. That 404 is getting it done nice and quietly. Your car didn't sound like it had a cut-out open at all.Do you have a cut-out on your ride ?
I do agree with everyone else about the 4000 Yank. You should be able to run a 10.6 or 10.5 easy on motor. I'm not to sure how nitrous friendly a 4000 Yank is ,but I'm sure Yank can help you with that decision.
Once again nice set-up, Madden .
