Default leaving @ 7k and bogging to 3k

Well I ran for the first time last night on the new et drag stiff walls and was launching at 7 k and bogging to 3k when I looked at the scan. It was knock retarding and pulling 6 degrees right there when I would bog. I tried clicking my front shocks from 3 up to 5. But it still bogged.
I was running 14 psi in the slicks should I start adding more air pressure? Or slip the clutch a little? I am already leaving at 7 grand.

Add psi to the tires.... try 16psi and work your way up

good luck

If it is bogging that hard you need more gear. The retard could be false knock as something may be tapping. **** moves around on a 7K sidestep, been there!

It sounds like you definitely need more gear to not have to slip the clutch. Also, to help prevent bog with too small of a gear, raise the tire pressure until you get a rotation or 2 out of the rear tires during the launch before they grab. That will get your rpm up a little. A dead hook launch will take some serious gear.

And John is correct. Lots of things bang around at a 7000 dump.

he could always up his limiter.

who thinks it will bog at 7500? i don't..

nah, really i'd add some air to the tires first. and yes, definitely try to launch at a lower rpm.

what rear gear? sounds like you need to go a higher ratio.
