Default H/c 4000 stall with 3.73 1/8 mile run

Car didn't feel like it was hooking well.
60 ft 1.64
E.t. 7.508
Mph 91.528
This is with strange sa shocks, LCAs, torque arm.
Does it have more in it?

One of the easiest things to help with spinning on the initial hit is to soften the extension on the rear shocks.

That 60' is very soft for a H/C car.

What tires?

There is a lot more left in it.

Mph looks low to me. I can trap that or better without the heads. What was the DA?

26" E.T. Streets on stock TA wheels,I had 28" hoosiers ready but apparently I didn't grind enough on my caliper and rim was rubbing ,so I barrowed my friends tires. Tire pressure was at 15 psi.

4000ptc
373s
Hand ported 317s
Custom 226/228 .588 114
Kooks 1 3/4 ory and magnaflow with cutout
Ls6 intake ported tb
Lca, panhard, tq arm, rear shocks
3450 or so race weight
2000+da

7.31-7.38 @ 94.0-94.8 consistently..1.50-1.53 short times just barely spinning out of the hole. At the time it had a tune for nitrous, was pulling 8*.. motor tune and hooking in same weather might have clicked a 7.1x@96 1.4x.

Definitely more in It.

Brand of coverter? Full details on setup?

Calculated da was negative 223???

A ton more left in it..

Btw, I made 377rwhp.. although a bit misleading because of the dyno, I was more around 400rw on those passes, little less possibly.. Dyno is known to break hearts.

Exhaust?

Pretty nice mod list.. First thing that comes to mind is the tune being off.
Had it on the dyno?

Your 60' and 1/8 mph is low. With that SS4000, you should be pulling at least a 1.5 60'. Crappy track prep? You should be shifting at 6500+ with that setup.

Track prep wasn't great, your probably 200-300 lbs lighter than mine. My cam peaks at 6400, wouldn't it hurt me more to bump shift points higher?

if it peaked at 6400 on the dyno then you need to be turning it 6600 to 6700. mph is diff low

You DO NOT want to soften the rear shocks for drag racing. Play with your settings but I had a lot of success running the rears around 10 in the back - keep in mind, you may need the left side softer than the right to help the car come back straight and evenly hit the tires. That is an already impressive 60ft time for just LCA, relocations, and shocks. What is your power level? What tires are you running?

Dyno said 432 HP and 390 tq, I was on 26" m/ t e. t streets at about 15 psi, my buddy has the same shocks he set them all the way soft and dropped a full tenth, but he's not putting as much HP to the wheels. Il try the left shock softer and see if that helps thanks for the info.
