Default First time out with the new slow car

hey guys, i recently picked up an 01 z28 auto ttop car and got a chance to run it yesterday. Only mods are:

slp lid
free ram air
Mac mid lengths w/ high flow cats and stock catback
and a brand new set of Toyo TQ 255/50/16 DR's
No tune
stock 2.73 gears
only weight reduction is front sway bar and spare/jack removal

Managed to go 13.00 @ 108.70 out of only 2 runs i had a chance to make, that was on a 12.99 dial in too..but went RED.

DA was 1700'
60' times were back to back 1.93

Seemed like decent runs, i think the 60 is maxed out with those gears and stock converter. I want to get the car as fast as possible without touching the cam or converter.

Anyone else think its time for a set of 4.10's?!

3:42's would be your best bet and would put you in the mid to high 12's !!!!!

Dont waste your money on gears until you get a S60/9"/12 bolt.

A converter will drop a ton more ET than a gear will.

Believe me I know that too, but I dont want to kill the drivebility. It will run 11's with a simple convertor swap, but thats not the route i want to take. I think the rear will be fine with the stock converter and 4.10's anyway, its not going to be able to slam that hard.
