Default New Personal Best 11.203 N/A 346ci.

Ran my new personal best this past weekend in indy. 11.203 @ 120.60 MPH with a 1.538 60' while running on stock rims in all 4 corners. I have a little bit more work to do this week and hopefully going back next week to Muncie to try and break 10's.

Very nice. Im working on the suspension on mine before i go back. i think as long as i can get a 1.60 60ft i can go some .40's in mine and hopefully tap 120mph in the cooler air we have now since i ran last.

The car is for the most part a full weight car. The only item that I changed out was the front bumbper support for a burkhart support. The suspension is stock in front and the typical BMR items in the rear. I have never actually weighed the car but i would guess with me in it 3500-3600lbs. As for the D/A when I made the run I am not sure what it was but will be keeping track of that from here on out.

Damn, thats a strong car. Figured you'd at least have the front sway bar dropped to pull off that 60', etc.

With a drag tire setup, skinnies up front no doubt. Without it I dont see the 60 foot time improving. 1.5 is not bad at all, nor is the 7.1 in the 1/8. Thats a damn good run with stock wheels on all 4. He didnt say if he removed the sway bar, that will make a difference. He did so it wont now lol!

I am shooting for that as well, would like to 1.5 the 60 as I have got 1.6s on a well prepped track. I got a PB a few weeks ago, 11.70 @ 119, 1.75 60 so our cars run about the same. I removed the front sway bar since & plan on putting some passes on all weekend.

Nice run and time! Put some skinnies and drag radials with light weight wheels and you will be in high 10's.

I am going to put heads and cam in my car soon. Then I will be headed toward your time!

Frost will be in town this weekend and will be taking a look at my shift points. I have been fighting with my 2-3 shift bouncing off the rev limiter. If we get this fixed I think I can hit 11.0-11.1's pretty easy next wednesday at RPM's track day. In your opinion what would be a better option. Tubular K member w/ tubular control arms, or a set of light weight rims?

Depends what you want to do with it. It's nice you have stock wheels on it so if you want to keep that look go with a k member and control arms.

Which direction (Drag rims, or K member etc.) would give me the biggest bang for the buck in your opinion?

Kinda debatable, with the wheels you drop rotating weight and if you put a good tire in the rear could drop your 60ft time. With the front end being lighter with k member and good adjustable shock should transfer weight thus improve 60ft times. Me I probly go with the wheels since it can help you and improve the look of the car also. Two birds one stone in my eyes.

I agree, bigs and skinnies would no doubt pick you up the most and the car would look mean as hell.
