I brought a friend of mine with me to the strip last sat and she talked me into putting my car on it. 99 z28 230k miles on it stock ls1 6 speed, 12 bolt with 4.11s and lca phb and stb is all i have.

i was hoping for a lower 13 or high 12 with my 4.11s. i think if i actually had my mt with me and used them i might of done better.

that 12 bolt is pointless with street tires. nice times. mph looks decent for a 230k mile motor and 12 bolt rear.

yeah i have no traction with my street tires. i have some mickey t's i just havent put them on yet and tried it.

well i thought i could of ran a high 12 or lower 13. obviously 13.5 isnt that bad

You always run slower than you think your going to the first few times you race. I remember the first time I'd ever been to the track I ran my cam only M6 car with street tires and the factory bad slave cylinder. I was planning on running 12.90s at least and I ran an amazing 14.0 flat lol. I never abused the car and when it came time to it locked me out of 2nd and 3rd every pass lol and I was cutting 2.3 60s with my bald street tires.

yeah i found that out lol. a friend of mine has a 2001- 02 ss dont remeber with bolt ons and he ran a 13.4 few weeks before. from driving his and mine i thought id be faster but was wrong. might be the driver mod haha
