Default New best and yes it's 5.0

I know it's not an Ls1 but I have had a few, I'm just a car lover not one brand over the other but have to admit the new 5.0 is the best bang for the buck. I'm sure most true car enthusest wil agree. Mods and dyno numbers in sig, runs were made with factory Brembo wheels on front and v6 16" on rear with 26/9.50 Hoosier QTP's. Now to the time.
1.76 60'
7.52 1/8
92.84 1/8 mph
11.68 1/4
116.97 1/4 mph

That was the best full pass, still had to get out of for a sec after shifting into third, rear end got a little out if whack. Which I'm sure is caused by running radials in the front and bias on the rear. I also cut a 1.64 60' on another pass but missed third gear. I'm thinking if it would have been a full pass it would have been a 11.50 or so

Thanks
Wes

Congrats! I drove one 2 weeks ago and was blown away at how fast it was. I will say that Ford has really stepped up and came up with a winner. Luv my Ls1 but I would by one in a heartbeat!

Go ahead and get that boss intake. My friend has a 13 5.0 with Bama tune and boss intake and the normal bolt ons. Traps 118mph. He was running street tires probably why his mph was so good. 12.1 time. Deffinately a low 11 sec car.
