new personal best last night but not by much
Went to cecil county dragway last night with my brother and a friend. ETs were no different than when I went back in March when the seasoned opened. The only changes were a built trans, new TA, and 17” tires than 16”. One thing that sucked about last night was the DA. According to dragtimes’ DA calculator the DA was about 980!
60’ 1.7 to 2.0
1/8 between 8.6 to 8.8 (iirc)
MPH 86 to 87 (iirc)
¼ 12.3 to 12.4
MPH 109 to 110
Back in march I was running 12.5-12.6 with 2.0-2.10 sixties but trapping 114-115mph so I imagine the DA was killing the trap speed. I figured it had to cause my brother’s T/A was trapping 111-112mph when back in March, was trapping 117-118mph. my buddie’s C6Z with JUST a supercharger on factory tires was running 11.1 at like 133mph! it was insane but something broke on his last run of the night when he was just about to do a light burnout. Car’s sexy and insanely fast for just the addition of a supercharger. Sounded nasty as well. with my car I’m okay with it as it stands being a cam and bolt-ons running 9.4:1CR. Planning on bumping the compression up during the winter though
