Default Shooting For High 12'S

Hey I have a 94 Z28, with 95 thousand miles and a 4L60E tranny. My mods are a 3200 FTI Lock-up, with a Moroso CAI, Pacesetter LT'S, ORY, Flowmaster catback, and a PCM 4LESS Tune, with a transgo shiftkit. I am going to have a Nitto Drag Radial do you think the car is capable of running a high 12 or do you think I will be around the low 13's? Do you think I will drop a tenth or more from the tune?

I would say the car is capable of 12's, but as it sits will probably do low 13's. What do you have as a suspension setup? Traction and a good 60' are going to be important if you really want to drop into the 12's.

Go run it and see how it does. Depending on the results you can pull some weight to try and drop some ET.

What Nitto are you running, 555R or NT05R?

I am going with the 555R they seem to work good for my buddy's cars. I got a friend with a 97 Trans-Am with bolt-ons with a 3000 with 373's and ET Streets he ran a 12.8 not bad for a bolt-on LT1.

Not bad at all. I've had two sets of those tires, they work decent on the street but are not optimal for track use. Since you already have them though, might as well use them up. Make sure to drop to the appropriate pressure and do a good burnout, those tires need to be pretty hot to stick well.
