Ran at Fontana Dragway. The DA was an annoying 2500ft. Mods are h/c, car has 408whp.
My best pass was
r/t - .259
60' - 2.036
330' 5.590
1/8 8.504 @ 85.60
1000' - 10.993
1/4 - 13.076 @ 108.89
Ugghh

Not very good at all. Density air was not great but would still think should be way faster with your mods.
Your 60fts are not great. Are you short shifting . Have to likely be shifting up around 6500 or so. Is your clutch gone? Course you showed good dyno numbers . Would think you should be running in the low 12s or 11s with your hardware. Your mph also looks pretty bad as well.

Yeah, even with altitude correction I'd be looking at a 112 mph trap, which is low. I was trapping at 110mph, till it got in the mid 80's. I actually felt good about the 60'.
Please note that I took out no weight in the car. It had a spare tire, jack, etc..
Gonna try again in October.

Hmm what tires are you running?
Change out fuel filter . Are you on stock clutch? Still think 6200 for light might be low. But not that familiar with hot cam. Would have thought should have redline around 6600 and have light more like 6400 or so.
At place used to live we had m6 cars near stock hitting 13.0 at about 1700 feet track altitude with pretty sure around 106 or 108 mph non corrected. We had m6 heads cam type cars running 11s on drag tires and more like 115 or even bit higher mph.
Also there is no way in hell a stock clutch will take 400rwhp for very long. It might be ok for a run or two but then would slip badly. My stock clutch didn't last me long at all in my bone stock 99 trans am. Just trying to get a good 60ft destroyed it pretty quickly.
I think for sure at even 2500 DA that car of yours should be running low 12s at 115 or so or I would be pretty darn mad.
Course little things are important. Like weight. Running 1/4 tank of fuel . Take out jack and spare tire and little stuff. Can usually find a few tenths there as well and a few mph. Every 100 pounds is roughly a tenth and a mph.
And short shifting could easily take away quite a bit of mph. Course so can bouncing off the limiter.

I went back to the track, as a spectator, for those saying it should trap 115mph, I think your wrong in this DA. I just witnessed not one, but 15 different 2011+5.0's modded running 107mph traps. I'm going to resurrect this thread to prove the effects of density altitude on cars.

DA absolutely plays a large role. Do you have any type of ram air? I would get a SSRA/FTRA/chrs1313, something to jam some more of that thin air down it's neck, doesn't look like it's getting much. Still, most i've seen is a couple MPH for a couple thousand DA, and even if you take that in effect, it's still falling over somewhere.
I'm not familiar with the hotcam powerband, but I would think 6500 or better would be doing you a large favor.
I'd think you're losing a good bit of MPH with your street tires and 60ft as well. Maybe some wrinkle walls or a nice ET street on your current wheels. That would be your biggest gain.
Fwiw, I ran my time in sig with 400ft DA.
