Default bolt on b4c: update eps cam, ls2 243s, th400 results 10.42 @ 128... so far

Got the car out for a few passes last night. A little about the car, its a bolt on ls1/60e b4c. slp lid, qtp 1 3/4 lts, custom 3" y with 4" fm merge dumped before the axle, mwc 9" with 4.11s and spool, circle d 5c converter, ls6 valve spings, chrs1313 non ac ram air, tubular everything except k member, basic Geoff skinner tune, weighs in the 3100 lb range with a quarter tank.

Sorry for the links for pics but its all I got.

Fastest pass of the night.

few pics of the car

Eps 234 246 cam, untouched 243s, fti sst89-0 3800 (way too tight) converter, fti level 3 th400 fmvb, and little more weight out, tuned by Geoff at eps. +2400 da, Should trap 127+ when we get the into the negative da, and close to 150 more lbs out of the car and a restall around 4500-4800 on the converter.

Any idea what the DA was? You have a nice setup. I plan on switching to the 5c as well

Thanks man. Between -1000 and -2000 depending on the app or site used. The air was absolutely fantastic last night. My buddies cat back only a4/2.73 car went 13.2 @ 106 lol

5c is a beast of a converter.

If you ever decide to sell the car, please let me know.

I've always wanted a factory stripper with an auto. If the timing is right, I may take it off your hands.

I bought an 01 b4c a few months ago, my plan is to do basically everything on your list.

I took it to the track the weekend after I bought it, with a set of hard as nails 225/60r16s, stock other than the shitty tires lol. It ran a best of 13.3 @ 106 mph.

I honestly think with nothing more than a better tire on the rear it would touch the 12.999 mark.

I've thought about selling the car because I just bought a supra, but I think if rather sell that and build the camaro lol.

Blown06 if your really looking to buy a car please pm me.

When mine was born stock ot went 13.1 @ 106. It still amazes me how much quicker the car is with such simple mods.

Car is not for sale hahq

Nice results with the big 9" and spool eating up that power.

That 1.499 60 looks nice, suspension is working, that's everything minus k-member? Stock swaybar?

I actually have a forged 347 with ported 243s, a smallwood 237/242 cam, and it's getting a th400 in a few weeks.

Think the th400 will hurt it as a bolt on car?

The gearing will be higher, not as low first gear, 60's may suffer alittle. But TH-400 a lot better trans. And will not tear up. You're going to need it sooner than later.

So... I got with Geoff and purchased his big cam to go with a set of stock 243s and the fast 92/92. Thru the th400, 9", and a 28" et street the car made 388 whp. Converter is way too tight so we'll be pulling next weekend to have it restalled around 4500. It will be track time as soon as it's back together. Shooting for 10s this go

So.... 1.56 60 ft out of the tight 3800 converter and the end result 6.9 1/8 10.86 @ 125 1/4

Update: 1/17/16

had the converter restalled to a 88-6, 4400ish stall speed. Da was -1000 vs +2400 last time. track just wasn't there and I need help with setting up the suspension. I think it has a couple tenths left in it once its lined out.

Thanks guys. I'm going back this Friday with a friend to help with suspension. I think it's got a little more than .50 in it, we pulled another 50 lbs out and still have a pin on hood and light battery to get some more out. I'll be posting the results of this weekend as well.
