Default Not a good track day

Well the weather was great and I decided to go race for the last time this year and was hoping for a 9 sec pass but the transmission had other plans. This was bought used back in 2005 and was built but cant remember by who anyways I got my monies worth. First pass and BAM right off the line BROKE.Got back home and found the output shaft broken.

This time once I get it rebuilt I'm going to have a hardened output shaft installed since the input is already hardened . I knew it was just a matter of time with my power level but once the clutches started slipping I should have pulled it then but so close to 9's I took a chance.

Okay in just a few weeks the tracks reopen around here if weather stays nice. Had transmission fixed no other damage then the output and planetary gear cage also upgraded the clutches and bands. So now thinking of trying a new stall something like a SS3600 instaed of my SS4000.
