Default Hoping for 12's tonight

Getting my pcm back today after tuning, and hitting the track. Got my long tubes and x pipe on and haven't even started it yet. Also ported the tb sense the last time out and bump stop mod so will see. DR's are on the way but won't be here today. Hopefully 12's tonight.

good luck keep us posted.

you should trap higher for sure.

without the dr's and making more power your et's may get worse , I hope not hopefully the track is well prepped and you can finesse a decent 60'

you didn't post your previous mph in this thread and I didn't go check your other thread , just looked at mods and knew you weren't in the 12's yet previously and the 273's with no stall.... maybe it goes 110 I don't know I was hoping with my guess to be within 1 mph and 1 tenth so it would look like I know what I am talking about lol

80-90 degree temps are going to kill your et potential but if its hot like that and you run the same or thereabouts rest assured it will make gains when you have decent racing weather again.

an important thing to do and understand is to note your DA on your timeslips it is as easy as going on drag times DA calculator in the days after you race , picking the track you raced at from their dropdown list , finding the date and time closest to your timeslip date and time stamp ,this will give you the weather conditions for that date and time at your track you put that info in the da calculator right there on the same page and voila instant DA - its easier than it sounds from my description !

This allows you to know why you ran faster or slower if its due to mods or due to weather, this will also train you to recognize good racing weather ahead of time so rather than going and flogging your car to get less than desirable results if your looking for pb's you go when the weather is favorable for pb's , in your area that may be anything below 1500 feet , for someone in Denver they likely get excited when its 4000 feet , for me I have rarely been to the track when da is above sea level because we get negative da pretty consistently spring and fall- its all relative.

yeah I live in CA my track is 72' above sea level. I'm just learning about DA and weather, but its usually well under 1500'. its just going to get hotter around here so ill go this Saturday when its 80 if I don't work. thanks for the input.
