We had another track rental so I headed back out to try for my 9 second pass in this thing. Last time out I had a new best 60' of a 1.379 but the DA was just too high and I couldn't make it happen. Well the DA was only a few hundred feet better this time at 3700 ft but now I've got the Magnusson Heartbeat TVS 2300 on it. We tried to pulley it so that the boost level would be approximately what it was with the stock blower overspun like on my last passes but the closest we got was ~1 to 1.5 psi higher. At least this blower is barely working up a sweat at this boost level compared to the stock one. The fuel system is DONE at this power level with the high side barely hanging on with 50% ethanol and a single large meth nozzle. With the new found power I just couldn't get it to hook as well as before which I kind of thought was going to happen anyways but it was good enough to hit my goal.
