2002 Z28, PRC 225 Heads, TSP MS3 cam, FAST 102.
Dont know the weight of the car but Im guessing 3150-3200 pounds. Im 230 pounds so race weight in the 3400 pound range give or take.
6.992@100.9 with a 1.52 60'. Will leave a little harder next time out. I was launching at 5000

Your clutch is drawing too much rpm/energy, pulling the engine down way under it's torque peak. That's why the nose is dropping like a rock about 8-10' out.
More launch rpm + a softer hitting clutch will likely get you in the 6.70's. It won't jerk the tires as high, but when things are right it will carry the nose about 20'.

Thanks guys. Monster stage 3 clutch. Dont worry, its gonna get the nuts launched off of it next time. I was leaving at 5000. I didnt have time to put the 2 step on it. Next time I will start at 6000 and go from there. RPM's dropped to 4000. Hopefully I can keep it from dipping below 4500 next time out. This is a new build. Still figuring out what it likes.

Also went back to track again and went 6.98@101 with a 1.46 60'. The better 60' came from NOT dead hooking the car but letting the slicks spin which is the way they are designed to work anyway. I'm not talking about crazy spinning but they were digging which kept the rpm's from dropping down so low.
Gonna start on the nitrous install this weekend.
