Race results for 8/14/04 "New Best/Cool Pic"!
My new best comes with mixed emotions. I ran the fastest times that the Hot Rod has ever run but, I most likely lost the track championship. I red lighted with a -.005 in the 4th round. The points leader won and had a bye run in round 5. When we left last night he was in the semis. I am now at least 6 rounds behind the leader(will find out for sure on Monday) with only 2 races left. I will have to miss the next race because we open our varsity football season on the 28th. Oh well. There is always next year.
Now for the new best numbers.

330ft. ET 4.300

I want to thank my wonderful wife Kayle & Family, Madman(JBZ Race Cars), and Thunder Racing for all your help and support.
Have a great one,

Coach,
Congratulations on the new best times, however bittersweet it is because of your points race. If you would, give me a call at work tomorrow before 2:00 P.M. I have something I would like to try on your car if you are game. I think it might pick you up just a little bit.

Congrats/sorry about your weekend Coach! I understand the heartbreak of falling behind after working hard to try and get to #1, but great times! Just think about the et finals and the fact you can win from any spot on the team (I'm a testament to that ).

congrats on the new best coach. that is teh hardest part of racing sometimes, it is not a team sport. when you win you win all by yourself, when you lose to do it all alone.
give it another go next year. good luck with football season.
