Default new track results "cam only" looks promising

well after taking out some weight last week, i decided to head on out to the track, for the first time ever i was extrememly disappointed with npr's track prep, they never preped it all night. my best 60's were in the high 1.5's but i achieved a new mph of 123 and that was on a 11.2 run with a 1.59 60' time, the previous best was a 11.11@122 with a 1.48 60' so if i can ge the car to hook up i think 11.0 or 10.99 is in reach now, the weather was extremely hot also, had a full belt(forgot my shortbelt) and left some weight on the car (bout15lbs) i forgot to take out. this was a last minute trip so crap happens
after realizing that i coulnt hook i ran brackets, in street class you have a max dial in of 11.5 so i dialed 11.5 and went 11.53@90mph hard on the brakes for semifinal round then in the finals went a -.001 light oops, like coach says, thats bracket racin.

today was also thunders dyno day so they wanted to strap the car down to make some noise for the customers. with the full slicks the car dynoed 433rwhp torque was in the high 380's i believe. its getting stronger slowly.

Its a shame the track didnt hook for ya. I've been waiting to see some results after the weight reduction. Wish I had your mph. What does your 1/8 mph look like ?

chris, im guessing the raceweight is about 3375 now. hope to find out soon and i have a list of about 200 more lbs in weight reductions i hope to do in the next few months. and yea, i love the stage 4 spec, bites like a **** and very streetable.

dmc, 1/8 mile is in the low 7.1 range last night around mid 96mph range. i think i went a 7.0x before with better traction. dont hold me to this but im guessing the da was between 1000-1500 yesterday evening during bracket finals

Very impressive ETs and MPH. With a good hooking track and some -DA it looks like you could set the next cam only record. Maybe this winter you and DMcRacer will make me slap a bigger thump stick in my car

you will defenately be competive in the QS class at Thunder this year. We know the track hooks then

You have done an awesome job of getting the car setup right.

thanks lynda, i hope to be competitive in QS cause the idea of spending 600 dollars on tires and wheels to win 500 bucks in SS while going slower dont thrill me. hopefully when i install the hals i wont have as much traction problems on crappy days.

street stalker, with good weather thats the plan

oops left out important part, was hot for fastest 1/4 runs, da was about what i said during the brackets after that, but never ran it out cause i was doing brackets but the 1/8 mile was lil better. i honestly have no clue what the da was at 6:00. just standing there in shorts and a tee shirt i was burning up. i always forget to check da though.

Coach, the red light was in the final round but oh well, i was just there for times anyway, just wound up racing cause i couldnt hook. i can live with second place since it was just a trophy and not cash.
