Default New best 60 ft on Nittos with a 6 spd

I went to Npr and the track was hooking great. I ran through the muffler to see what it did in street trim, 17 inch rims all around and full weight. through the muffler it ran a 11.79 @ 117.5 with a 1.70 60 ft( 315x35x17 Nittos ) but spun 2nd . It had more through the muffler but I spun bad in 2nd and the track was to crowded to waste time.
2nd run was eliminations already so I guessed a 11.60 and went out with the short belt and cutout open, launched to a new all time record setting best of any one i know On Nittos with a 6 spd of 1.644 leaving at 4000 rpm's
I ran a new best 1/8th mile of 7.36 at 94.5 mph and was on my way to 11.4's but my shift light took a dump and I tried shifting when the car feels like its time ,but the f13 just pulls and pulls and pullls to red line hitting the rev limiter on the 3rd to 4th shift about 4 times and slowing me down to a 11.62 @ 117.1 mph.( helped me win the first round
next run , I dialed in a 11.50 since the car had much more if I could just shift before the rev limiter, spun to a 1.69 60 ft and ran a new best mph with a 11.59@ 120.10 mph .
next round I kept my dial in of 11.50 as it did spin on the last run so my apponent red lighted and I got the win light but pulled a 1.70 60 ft and lugged on my 4th gear shift and ran 11.62 @ 119.95 mph crossing the last two passes on the rev limiter at the traps (4.30 gears and 25.7 inch tall Nittos @ 120 mph) .
So here it is midnight and I worked all day long since 5 am (woke up at 3:15 am) and have to be back at work at 5 am again actually undecided if I want to leave and give up a trophy, I go up to the stageing lane and there is 30 bikes and 40 something cars that want some test and tune time trials between rounds and I am in for the final round. I look around and see the christmas tree flashing 2 red lights( some one oiled the track down) and said ***** it, turned around and got my **** ready and left
Final round and I had to forfit. I was a tired **** today and Will not be doing that anymore. I dont regret it and the car was just awsome last night.
The f13 is by far the best mod I have done yet.

For a 6 speed that is a very impressive 60'.. I've never seen anybody cut a time like that. Most of the local guys are stuck in the 1.8-1.9's on Nittos.. Good drivin'

Peace,
Josh

Yeah, even though my 60 ft is just as good as with et streets I still run better on et streets as my nittos are a tad short for 4.30 gears. My mph is usually up by 1-2 mph on 26x11.5x16 et streets.

I some how aquired the feel of Nittos and the key is that you just cant shock them.
Leave hard but dont hit the gas untill they stick. This fm13 cam makes great tq and when I hit the gas peddle, it acts like some one just kicks you in the *** with teh 4.30 gears

One thing that surprised me, Nittos hate the cold air and I still was hooking this good in 46 deg weather.

Very impressive times,
But even more impressive is your ability to consistently 60’s those nittos with a 3720 lbs. race weight.
That MPH shows off the FM13 and heads.
Great job!
What kind of suspension do you have?

Try some MT Drag Radials for you next set of tires I think I'm going to try a set next, because I have been seeing good results with them. Atleast 2 local guys are cutting 1.4x 60's on them

I have a BMR adjustable Tq/a , lakewood lca's, !front sway bar (gone). I do have an air bag in the r/r spring but it only seems to help on Et streets and leaving at high rpms.
I did run 119.39 mph with the c1 cam but this one has not seen its full potential yet.

Bain, I will be trying the m/t on my 16 inch rims. THese times were ran just how I like the car every day. the 17x9.5 rims are pimp and I had to work so DId not feel like changing any tires when I got there, just run in street trim so I could leave in a hurry.

I have seen the m/t tires in action and they kicked *** on a freinds car over 26x10.5x16 et streets . I will try them next time I go to the track to see how they do on a 6 spd .

SKEERED.... That's awesome man. And you hit it on the head when you said the Nittos don't like being "shocked." They are too stiff and don't squish when you hit 'em hard. I tried some clutch dumps on them last week and couldn't do squat for a 60'.

But I'm out of patience, and ordered the MT ET Street DR's. So I guess I'll be looking for replacement parts soon!
