Thumbs up i managed a new best last night even with problems

well i figured my newest line of mods would offset the difference in air last night from my previous runs, guess not

1st pass off the trailer car went a 10.42@130.72 i didnt launch all that hard and only cut a 1.44 60 so i was pumped up from that point on sine thats new best mph and et on the first run.

after messing with the tire pressures and shocks a lil i managed to pull off these passes

10.40@ 131.46 on a 1.48 60' that almost 1.5 mph faster than my 10.43 run

Next
10.37@131.09 with a 1.44 60' spun again

Next
10.36@130.69 with a 1.40. this was the only run of the night that the car even tried to hook and since i was spinning all night i didnt launch where i normally do

the .36 was just the best i could manage, the track prep was ok, but i think i may to readjust my pinion angle again from this relocation crossmember i put on and rescale the car. i couldnt get traction for crap all night. i was launching 4-5hundred rpms slower than i usually can manage and my pos strange brakes were acting up so my linelock wouldnt hold for crap as you will see when the videos get posted up. so my burnouts were complete crap all night long which im hoping is most of the problem.

with a lil more work and getting these brakes fixed car should cut some 1.37 range 60's and run some low low 30's maby a high 20's with good traction. it felt way stronger on top end and the mph shows it i managed to trap over 104mph in the 1/8 a few times with some 6.6xx et's

overall im happy to see that she still not reached the max et limit yet.
and for those of yall who like to harass me about this, the spoiler stayed on for these runs also

Awesome ET and MPH!
Looks like you’re going to raise the bar again.
What changes did you make to get the extra MPH?

Very nice dude!!!! I really give all you guys props, that's just insane the times you guys are running with just a cam!!! I need to start takin some weight out of my car, and takin some weight out of myself, hehe! The car isn't so bad, it only weighs around 3200 lbs, i'm 270ish! If I can get back down to 220, that'll drop 50 lbs off the raceweight and then some more weight reduction in the car, and maybe I can get into the 3300's raceweight.

Congrat on the runs Rodney. How many runs on your slicks? Not very good burnouts can effect 60 foots also.

Coach.

way to go Rodney! Have you had any trouble out of the rear yet? How many passes do you think it has on it now? Are you running a spool in it?

Coach.
slicks have about 80 passes on them but untill recently my burnouts were crap anyway. i still have good wear left according to the lil indicators and last time i went out they hooked like a **** so i think its just the lack of a good burnout.

nope not yet. i have probably 40 runs or so on the spool, maby 90 passes on the gears. it is screaming like a **** but i reset lash and its still ticking. ill probably change them when i get back from atlanta to regain my record again.
