Got the last of my parts I needed to start buildin the motor wed, so I had the day off and went ahead and got crackin on gettin the motor and trans out! After I got the motor and trans out, I brought the motor up to my buddy's shop and we stripped it down (forgot to get pics of motor and bare block and stuff, was too tired by that time to think)!!!! She's sittin as a bare block right now, gettin ready to go in for machining on sunday, and then we'll probably put her together within the next week or two. I can't wait to get her together and back in the car!!!! Hopefully i'll be all back up and running within a month or less, I can't wait!!!!!
Here's a few pics:

I also am pickin up a set of heads for the motor off of one of the members on here, he's pretty local (up in ft meyers), great deal! I guess he got a set of Absolute Speed heads before everything went sour with them, he said they're brand new in the box stage 2 6.0l heads milled to equal like a 65cc chamber which will put me right about 11:1 with the new motor which is where I want to be, they have comp 921 springs and he says the flow sheet jay sent shows 320 cfm @ .600 lift!! He said he had them flowed on a local bench and it showed like 308 or 309 @ .600, and like 295 or 296 @ .700, so maybe one day i'll send 'em out to tea or someone to try and get the higher lift up a bit, but it's not too bad of a drop, so I don't think it'll kill me with my close to .650 lift cam.

sound good to me, best of luck getting it all right (always seems easier pulling them apart than putting back together right??)
Guess my days of being within a few tenths of you on the motor are soon to be history
