Default Took SS to the track for the first time

Well i was a little mad becuase the weather sucked, but i took off work in advance to go so i went anyways. It was a 50's/60's with a 20-25 headwind i'm not even joking it was windy as hell, they siad 20-25 on weather.com, and the news. i just sat in the car the whole time becuase it was brutal as hell in the stands.

I'm on nitto 555r's with mods in my sig. I was having a tough time hooking. I was doing a good 4-5 second burnout before every pass. I was kinda hot lapping the car and ran exactly 13.2@108 4 times in a row.(i should bracket race. lol) then i let the car cool for about a half hour and had my best run

Here's my best run:

60' 2.147
330 5.740
1/8 8.619
MPH 85.63
1000 11.081
1/4 13.166
MPH 108.17

Luckly the wind died down to about 10mph around 9 pm so i let the car cool till 9:45 and went trying to find a 12 second pass. i was in line and a S10 ran into the wall at the end of the track, and the officials called it a night.

i'm fiarly happy with my times this was the first time to the track driving a manual. I think with zero wind and better track prep, i could see a 12

easy 12s with the mph and 60 foot times you're posting.

Get some traction and you'll hit the 12s

Very good times considering the conditions. You should have no problems running 12s, as stated before, with that mph.

arn't you cammed? you should be basement 12's. I saw you ran like 13.5 or something. If you can't get the hang of the Hurst shifter get a pro 5.0 it should help

Nice times for the first time out. How did you launch it? I will be running at the track for the first time ever in a manual. Unsure how to go about it.

after a nice burnout(go to a parking lot and learn how to burnout before you go) i was jus dumping it from about 2,200 at about 3/4 throttle.
