Default Finally got to the track with the DR's

Well, I finally got a set of dr's and skinnies and made it to the track last night. The car never really dead hooked, but it stuck pretty good. Here are the results:

Reaction........516
60ft..............1.758
594ft............7.415
1/8et............7.925
1/8mph.........88.10

Do these seem like pretty good numbers for the mods in the sig? That was NA..didn't want to spray because I didn't know what it was gonna do and I was running a foot brake race. I will have some numbers next week on the gas. Let me know what you think.

What drag radial and how was track prep? If it's a regular DR like a Nitto I don't think that short time is too bad for a stock suspended car. What RPM where you leaving at?

They were BFG's and I was leaving at like 1500. The track is not the best in the world but it hooks pretty descent

If you get on the track when prep is pretty good try footbraking it has high as you can and hit the nitrous like 10' out. If the car sticks the 60' should drop pretty good. Even spinning alittle on the nitrous my 60's are better than dead hooking N/A. Also play with your tire pressure, you should find a sweet spot. My Nittos liked 12-14psi cold.

Yeah I had the BFG's at 15psi. I am expecting the 60 to drop alot on the gas. So what do you think of the times? Are they right on track for my mods or are they slow??

I think your times are good. A 7.9 in the 1/8 should be about 12.5 or quicker in the 1/4.

Cool..I think the car will run a 7.8x with a little more tuning. It was hitting the rev limiter nad my HPTuners didn't come in until late Friday evening..the race was Saturday. I got the car off the rev limiter and got rid of the torque management about 30 minutes before I had to leave to go to the track. So I haven't even started tuning on it really.

i ran almost the same this weekend
https://ls1tech.com/forums/drag-racing-results/314793-1-8th-pt4400-stock-motor.html

i have less mods and a little more stall... hey that sounds so good i might add that to my sig
i'm on stock tune and an ls1 intake; only mods are in the sig... the only thing not listed is a direcflow lid
