my 1st run with the camaro
so i took my fairly new camaro ss(1998) down to the track recently...my best time was a 13.532 @ 106 with a 2.262 60 foot time...do you think that i could get my 60' foot time down any more or is that about where it will stay? I pretty much revved it up to about 2000 rpm's and dumped the clutch with about 75% throttle for the first 20-30 feet then floored it from there on out...any suggestions for what i can do to launch better and improve my 60 foot time?
manual, mods: k&n filter, magnaflow exhaust
also thinking ahead towards some nitto or bfgoodrich DR's would i need to get 315s or could i get 275s (the size on my car now)...would they be bad for the rear end as it sits. how much would they improve my times? about how much do they cost?

sticky tires and a 2.0 60 foot time while rowing the gears right should get you down in the 13 teens, and maybe a 12 second pass if your rear holds a good clutch dump
