Excellent times!

Next time at the drag strip, lower the air pressure in your DRs to 16-18 psi. Your 60' times and, consequently, your 1/4 ETs should improve.

Thanks X-trooper, The last run was at 20psi. I don't know these tires and I did remember from years ago that the big end boogy ain't my kind of dance.

I hear ya, but as they are radials, you shouldn't experience this like you would with bias-ply tires. I routinely lower the air pressure in my Nitto DRs to 16-17 psi and I get no movement whatsoever even with 114-116 mph trap speeds.

I don't know about that. All I can tell you is that I'm cutting consistent low 1.7x 60' times with my Nitto DRs set at 16-18 psi and my light-hitting Yank SY3500/1.63 torque converter. Others are cutting 1.50s and 1.60s with their M/T drag radials, something you'll never manage at 20 psi.

I suggest you try a lower pressure and see what happens!

Sweet! It looks like I am right on mph wise, I am hitting the 1/4 for the first time with this set up on Saturday. (I ran 7.96 @ 89.21 in bad air)

I ran my old 245-50-16 Nittos @ 16psi, no wobble at the top end.
