Default Trapping 108mph Can i get 12s?

I went to the track on friday, toronto motorsports park. It was my first time ever raicng the car at the strip. My best run was 14.1@107.8mph. The track was absolute crap, 100% humidity. The waterbox was leaking onto the drive around, it was like racing on ice. My 60' was 2.56 ( horrible i know ) I was running on 275/40/17 firestone firehawks @ 28psi. 4.10s and street tires arent good combo My car is lowered which also isnt helping times. Car is a full weight hard top LT1 with a/c and powerseats etc. No weight removal at all. I had socket set and other crap in the car with me.

Anyways, the question im asking is how far into the 12s can i get with that mph? BTW, my car only has stock 1.5 rockers on it now, but i just bought a set of 1.6's that will be going on. Next time i go to the track, i will have 12 bolt and slicks, possibly skinnies too.

~1.60 or so, don't really remember (some were in the high 1.50s, few in the low 1.60s).

Stock internals, full boltons, 4.11 gear, TP4400 stall, ~3600 lbs

with the minor bolt-on in sig I went in the 12s at 107 mph. Stock trans and convertor, 3.23 gears. It can be done, but traction and air need to be on your side!

I agree, traction is definitely your quest. Buy you some sticky rubber and join the club.
