Default I think I made the 12 sec club: new best

I don't know if I qualify since I barely squeeked in on my last run of the night -lol
but I did set a new best ET and MPH. My previous best Et was a 13.1? and mph was just over 106. Went to Rt 66 in Joliet, IL. on wednesday night:

run 1: 13.093 @ 106.37mph 2.02 60ft
run2: 13.093 @ 106.90mph 2.08 60ft
(consistent huh ?)
run 3: 13.21 @ 106.33mph 2.02 60ft
run 4: 13.062@107.06mph 2.04 60ft
run 5: 12.955@107.03mph 1.99 60ft

mods are in my sig.

You're in the 12 second club if you ask me. I think you can make slower runs and still be in it, otherwise everyone would get kicked out for having a bad run, missing a shift, etc.

Thanks guys. I'm not sure where to go from here, what should my next mod be? I was thinking converter then a cam but I don't know if I want to sacrifice some mph to gain et with the converter. By the same token I've heard you really need the stall of the converter if you're going to do a cam.
I really don't want to spray the car, I'd like more power but I'd like it there all the time not just in the 1/4 mile.

A stall doesn't necessarily = less trap. I have a SY3500 in my car... it lays down some great MPH. I think the key is a lower STR, it doesn't hit quite as hard, but pulls like a freight train on the big end. My car is my daily driver and I am very pleased with my choice of converter. My vote is a converter, best bang for the buck.

I gained about an average of 2mph in the 1/4 with my converter. Nothing else being changed, no tune, etc. I know there are people that got more of a gain too.

Congrats! Stall it. You managed 5 runs at R66? I did not know they had open track durring the week. Some sort of event?

If this was an official list, you would have to back it up as per NHRA rules ... seeing as you are within those guidelines, we can let you slide.

Good job, especially with those mods.

thanks guys. Rt66 has test-n-tune on Tuesday nights and some Wednesdays as well pretty much through Sept. On the night I was there I could have done alot more than 5 runs, the place was deserted. Maybe 30 street cars and 40 race cars tops. The staging lanes were no more than 10 cars deep at any point all night. I was surprised since it was the coolest day of the week being only in the low 80's.
I'm doing some research on converters, looking at Yank vs Vigilante, and Fuddle. Not sure why I'm not considering a TCI since I am considering a Fuddle but I have heard mixed comments about TCI. I've also heard Yank's customer service has a terrible track record and they are slow to produce. Right now I'm leaning towards a 3200 PI if I can find one at the right price.
