New Best, but not happy...
I went to GLD last night. There were only a few cars there so multiple runs was easy. Even time to cool the car and my nerves. I do not have a lot of track experiance but did expect a lot more from my recent mods. Previos best was 12.69 @ 111.36 with a 1.97 60'. Added mods are 4.10s (from 3.42s), LCA brackets, M/T Radials (from Nittos) and a street tune. I also added a shift light and line lock. I tried loading off the line lock, different burnout lengths, different RPM launches, and could not get into the 1.7Xs 60'. My best was a disapointing 1.82 60' 12.52 @ 111.17. I could not trap higher than 111 no matter what. I did have a really good run with a bad 60' that could have easily netted me a 12.3 with a not so reasonable 1.80 60'. It went like this 2.00 60' 12.63 @ 111.13. Seemed like most cars were running .3-.4 slower than would be expected. A few 99+ GTs running 14.4s, a couple Z06s with DRs running 12.6-12.3s. I really need to learn how to launch this thing! There were no traction issues and the weather seemed good. I have no idea what the DA was. I will try to look into that. Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated.
DA was about 1400.

6600 rpm clutch dump of death Administrator
When the car bogs you'll loose a ton of time. ON a stock Z06 I was having to launch at 6600 on the ET streets. Even that was bogging ona good track. So, I had to go up to 21 psia nd have them spin to get the car to 60' decent (1.6's).
My recommendation would be to raise launch RPM. If the car isn't spinning, then store more energy in that flywheel.
