Default 1.48 60ft. Cam only M/T Drag radials

Weather got a little cooler last night so me and my buddy went to a local 1000ft. track to finish my HP tune and dial the car in for this fall. I did not get the DA but if i had to guess it would be around +1000. We have been tuning on the car for awhile now playing with what works and what does not work and finally started getting the car to settle down on a tune. We still have some minor tweaking to do so more power is still there for later on. Shift points 6800 rpms, timing 29.5 degrees with 0 KR and everything was clicking for us to see what this new cam could do. I gotta say that Greg is getting sharp as a tack on tuning and it's scarey to see what he might come up with between now and christmas Here are some of my faster runs of the night.

60ft. 1.49
1/8th 7.09@96.76
1000ft. 9.28@110.07

60ft. 1.49
1/8th 7.09@96.97
1000ft. 9.27@110.00

60ft. 1.481 <----new best
1/8th 7.06@97.24 <----new best
1000ft. 9.24@109.93 <---new best

Best 1000ft. mph 110.24

I was cutting 1.51s most all night on 18psi and we noticed that the tires still had a good 1 inch of patch left,so we set the tires at 15psi and BAM 1.4 60fts. the rest of the night. Looks like it's going to be a fun winter down in the south this year for me. Our goal is to runs 10s cam only before we throw some heads on the car so were keeping our fingers crossed that it will happen.

Very nice! What size tire are you using? I just picked up the 16 inchers to throw on the stock rims. Gonna try 'em out tomorrow.

That's moving! More I read the more I keep thinking about a set of these...

BTW, I'd estimate 11.teens or 11.0's with that 1000 foot time & 1/8-mile.

Xfiveliter,im running the 275/50/15s on 8 inch welds. The tire seems to work well with the 4.10s but my revlimiter is at 7000rpms,if any lower it would not cross the 1/4 mark.

Bad95,sorry man no videos of the run.

Villain281H,I was thinking between a 11.11-11.08@120+ 1/4. Weather and track prep last friday night was better but i did not go We get our best weather in arkansas and louisiana from late november-april so it can only get better for me.

I had a 1.53 today with my 255/16s even though the were spinning on the rim. Made about 8 passes and they moved about 6 inches.

Mine done the same thing friday night but they finally set the beads late in the night. My last pair i had then glued to the rim and if they keep spinning i'll have to do these new pair as well.

Congrats, I have had great luck with the 275/60/15 MT's as well. My best on the nitrous is 1.41. I just wish they weren't so heavy compared to a true slick but you can't have everything.

last night my friend got a 1.37 on those drag radials. The World Street Nationals are here this weekend. All the big boys are running the same tire.

Anyone want to buy a pair of slightly used BFG's?
