I ran 7x with a best of 13.77@101.84 with a 60' of 2.166. my car is 00 TA WS6 A4 with a slp lid, no cats and a flowmaster muffler on stock pipes. the air temp. was about 93* and the DA was 3848. I thought i would run a little better that but for the temp. outside and the fact my car was at about 210* every time i ran, thats not too bad. what can i do to get my 60' time down? I was not experiencing any traction problems so its not my tires.

just kidding, you sure you weren't spinning with that 60'? Did you have traction control on? That mph seems about right for this time of year for a basically stock car.

I Don't think I Have Traction Control. I was disapointed but people with lid only cars or stock cars were running in the 14's so i figured it had a lot to do with the temp.

Dont trip. I went to California Speedway today and out of 7x I pulled off a 13.9 as my best time. my 60' was 2.386 All i have is a lid and Cat back. No Nitrous today thoe. To cheap to fill the bottle. So Im gonna wait till next time! M6, Crap Tires, Thats about it. Oh, It was also my first time at the Strip.

you said you have an A4? well if you do just mash the brakes on the line and give it gas till your on the edge of burning out and when the light goes green, wait till you start rolling and mash it, i pulled a 1.8 60' in my 91Z on futura street tires doing this. hope that helps you

like someone else saif im an a4. on 3,23 gear with street tires. i rev my rpm up to about 2100 rpms and hold the breaks. and i can almost go fully wot off the line i get 2.0 60fts all days. though i loose traction at around 4k rpm and start spinning into 2nd. and alot of time tq management kicks in. i think the trap is alittle slow. i ran the 1/4 in 104mph stock. in summer heat. though with a 00 model i dont think you have the ls6 intake
