Question Stock muffler Vs. Cutout (results inside)

Well I went to the track with the density altitude of about 5300+ feet. I made 2 passes, closed cutout into stock muffler and then open cutout after the rear axle. Mods are in sig, I would like to get your opinion as to why did it not make so much of a difference. I let the car cool down for 30 minutes when I got there and did my first run cool down for 30 minutes and made my 2nd run.

First Run: closed

60 ft 1.84
1/8 8.42 @ 83.07
1/4 13.19 @ 102.81

Secound Run: open
60 ft 1.85
1/8 8.38 @ 83.15
1/4 13.14 @ 103.33

Your cutout after the axle? I would think you would want it(cutout) close to the header.

Put it in the I-pipe under the passenger seat where that little open space is fits nicely. I put mine there about a month ago and picked up .15 et and about 1.5 mph. I have a stock exhaust system including factory muffler which i can tell is very restrictive. I dont have headers though not sure if that can make a difference with your set up.
