Got car tuned, no new PB? What's up guys?
I went out to Cordova raceway yesterday with the MFBA and had the chance to run now that I got a tune. The results of the tune were as follows:
343 rwhp
355 rw torque
My previous personal best (before tune) was 13.100 @ 109 2.178 60' on a cool evening. Yesterday, my best time was 13.108 @ 109 with a 2.14 60'. It was kinda disappointing, but the track temp was almost 120*.
Track prep was good, everyone was hooking pretty well and I finally figured out my launch. I slipped the clutch at 3500 and that seemed to work the bets for me.
I'm thinking the heat took away any horsepower I gained from the tune. Any thoughts?
