Default 402rwhp + nittos ha!

Well well. So I got my car "ready" for new 1/4 mile times. 243/249cam, 4.10 gear, built trans with yank 4400 2.5str, control arms, qa1s, sway bar, etc. Pretty much bolt on cam only car. I guess everything would be much prettier if I didnt still have NITTOS! Well I just wanted to see whats gonna happen since it was a decent weather. Ok so I get there, lower the nittos to 17psi, didnt help much, its a 315/35/17. Anyway, line lock on, 1st gear, burnout, held it for about 4 secs. Staging, rpm up to 3200rpm, green light and LAUNCH !!!, errr more like " launch " or whatever You wanna call it. Tires broke loose right away, rev limiter bounced off 6900 rpm like 7-8 times, finally grabbed!! Got my time slip... I already knew whats commin, radiculous 3sec 60 foot followed by 14.3 1/4 mile at 112.4mph. Damn, not bad haha. Oh **** well..lets try it again, maybe my lucky car number "13" haha yea they gave me 13 ! Did the same thing, no bouncing off rev limiter this time ! yes! Best time i pulled this day was 12.32@113.24 with 2.102 60 foot with any kind of traction and rpm only about 2400.
Heres the time slip:
R/T: .200
60`: 2.102 Burn baby burn!!! I love nittos!
330: 5.350
1/8: 8.054
MPH: 91.29
1000: 10.384
1/4: 12.32
MPH: 113.24

So... so much for CRZYPWR this year. I already used the budged for the car this year. Next year new rear end with bigger gear, 90/90 with some heads, 15s on Hoosier quick times and go back there...see whats going on. Probably get TH400 or something. Im not gonna blame everything on 60 foot with nittos, even tho 12.3 with 402rwhp and 2.1 60` doesnt sound right. Oh well, at least I smoked M6 C6 last night off the roll, kind of makes me feel better.
Alright baby ... time to sleep till 2007, have a good rest!

Thanks guys and take care!
