Ran the 402 ! !
I ran my 402 in the 1/4 finally. First off I had the check engine light come on while I was headed to the track and I scaned it and found a crank sensor code. I decided to run it once anyway and it ran a 1.60 sixty with a 11.14 @ 122mph N/A. It was cutting out at 6400 due to the crank sensor. The temp was 83 outside and we were at Route 66. I hope she will run a 10.90 when I get the new sensor and in 70 weather. Im proud, but the 60ft times droped from when I was in Tn. I used to could pull mid to low 1.50s at my local 1/8 track.

Not a bad start, ya never know how much power it could have been down with a bad crank sensor... I personally wouldn't have run it in fear that could cause something else to go haywire.... but apparently it didn't.
Get that 60 foot back and it's going in the 10's no problem.
fwiw, I also have a 402, first full pass 1was 11.06@123.x, 1.61 60 foot. 2nd outing, car made 5 full runs, all 10.8x and the 60 foot's were in the mid 1.5's Nothing but some suspension changes.
We'll se what it can do this year now with the right tire and a good suspension setup

Keep me posted how it does with the new crank sensor, be intresting to see.
fwiw I just had my car retuned, got the breaking tune out of it... made 477 rwhp thru a 5800 converter and a th400
Should be intresting to see how it runs now, especially with some better suspension stuff, and a little weight out.

Don't be upset if it doesn't dyno well that's all.

I dunno what the motor is built for, but I'd think 7200 would be safe. My limiter is at 7600, made over 450 rwhp to 7400. I'm setting the shift light on the gas at about 6600 to start, on motor I'm gonna try shifting it at 7200, last year I was shifting it at about 6800 for the shakedown runs
