that is a fast cam only car. No porting at all on the stock heads?

What are the cam spec and drivability?

I was reading this the other day and noticed that most of the people on this list have stock bottom ends. But what if someone did a rebuild with after market rods & pistons and bored it over the .005? I think that would probably make it a 347 but does that 1 c.i. throw them out of this class. Does that 1 c.i. really make that much of a difference? What if they just did a hone and threw some pistons in it? I'm guessing this would be ok otherwise the qualifiers would have said stock bottom end instead of Stock C.I. Just thinking out loud.

New PB ET and Speed on same run - 11.760 @ 117.62 mph. The second timeslip is to confirm my Car # 27. Please properly respect my awesome reaction times - the result of consciously avoiding redlighting.

I think the weather has alot to do with the slow season, I'm ready to roll but my yard has huge piles of snow everywhere.

You can change my posting to 11.37 @124+MPH (it's in the sig), I can post a slip if you need me to later. Still same set up, hope to lower those ETs next time at the track into the 10's.

Are the head/cam cars stock crank, rods, & pistons, too? I think so, but just wondering. I'm comptemplating my next step as I decide on what big motor to build later this spring / summer to replace my extinct 427. Thanks. Dave

Displacement is calculated as bore x stroke, thus H/C installs do not alter CID.
Using larger diameter pistons (and thus a larger bore) or a different crank (altering stroke) would change CID.

The actual volume of the piston (negative or positive) or combustion chamber is not relevant to "displaced" volume.

I understand the physics. You can get the same CID with a different bore / stroke combo.

However, can you be "legal" if you change pistons, rods, and crank (if needed or desired) as long as you leave the bore / stroke the same? I would think no, but I am not sure what the "official" party line is and what all the cars have in their shortblocks. Not pointing figures, just asking.

camscam02 - you've been added.

Not sure on you question about the changing out piston, etc. This particular "list" is for stock ci - period. Anything else goes. Aftermarket anything - just no power adders - BUT must be stock ci... stock LS1, stock LS2 - haven't seen, but ya stock LS7's... This isn't a purest list.
